Foxit AI Assistant is an intelligent tool designed to improve productivity and streamline how you work with digital documents. Powered by ChatGPT, it helps users interact more efficiently with PDFs through natural language. The AI Assistant is available in both the Foxit PDF Reader/Editor and the Foxit AI web portal at ai.foxit.com, allowing flexible access anytime, from a browser. 

This manual covers all features available at ai.foxit.com and the AI Assistant embedded in the Foxit PDF Editor across Windows, macOS, mobile, and the cloud (hereafter referred to as the “Foxit PDF Editor”). For simplicity, both ai.foxit.com and the AI Assistant within the Foxit PDF Editor will be collectively referred to as “Foxit AI Assistant”.

To disable a plug-in, please follow the steps below:

• Select Help in the Ribbon > Plug-in Management to open the About Plug-in Management dialog box.
• Select the plug-in you want to disable, and click the Disable button  to disable it. 

Foxit PDF Editor allows you to install a plug-in in FZIP format. You can also install one or more plug-ins by using an XML file. An XML file defines the information about plug-ins to be installed, and should be used together with .dylib files. 

• Certified: Shows whether the signature of the plug-in is valid or not. 

• Loaded: Shows whether the plug-in has been loaded successfully or not. 

For flexible and convenient management of plugins, Foxit PDF Editor offers a Plug-in Management Platform, in which you can view the plug-in status, learn the information about the plugins installed, as well as manage the plug-ins as needed. 

To open the Plug-in Management Platform, please choose Help in the Ribbon > Plug-in Management.

To install Foxit PDF Editor from the Mac App Store, please follow the instructions in App Store User Guide. 

To install Foxit PDF Editor that is downloaded from Foxit official website, please double-click the package, and then follow the step-by-step instructions in the Installation Wizard.
